And an easy way to liven up your holiday d\u00e9cor or tablescape is with a magical fog of dry ice. A great way to also add a holiday glow to your table is to add string lights around the table before making dry ice magic!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"How to DIY Your Own Holiday Tablescape\" width=\"1220\" height=\"686\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/PaLMHcle7Ig?feature=oembed&#038;enablejsapi=1&#038;origin=http:\/\/jschaeffer.us\/sandbox\/penguindryice\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Here\u2019s what you\u2019ll need:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 Penguin Brand Dry Ice\u00ae<br>\u2022 Holiday tree&nbsp;<br>\u2022 Holiday ornaments and other decorations&nbsp;<br>\u2022 Paper cups&nbsp;<br>\u2022 Protective gloves&nbsp;<br>\u2022 Safety goggles&nbsp;<br>\u2022 Tongs&nbsp;<br>\u2022 Hot water&nbsp;<br>\u2022 Mallet or hammer&nbsp;<br>\u2022 Scissors&nbsp;<br>\u2022 Dish towel&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Instructions:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Step 1: <\/strong>Carefully break the dry ice into smaller cubes with a mallet or hammer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>SAFETY NOTE:<\/strong> To cube your dry ice from a block, wear protective gloves and eyewear, place the dry ice block in a towel, and carefully hit the block with a hammer or mallet. Do not chip at dry ice with a knife or other sharp object.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Step 2:<\/strong> Set out the outline of your tablescape. Utilize whatever holiday decorations you want, and place the shorter decorations first.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Tip: <\/strong>Use decorative ceramic and glass containers as part of your tablescape. These can double as dry ice containers later!&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Step 3:<\/strong> Cut paper cups in half to act as dishes for your dry ice.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Step 4:<\/strong> Add your final decorations to your holiday tablescape and prepare for dry ice magic.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Step 5:<\/strong> Place dry ice into the cups with tongs, and then place the cups onto the tablescape.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Step 6:<\/strong> Pour hot water into all of your cups and watch the holiday magic pour out!
