It\u2019s a crucial part of personal protective equipment (PPE) but stats tell us <a href=\"https:\/\/foh.psc.gov\/NYCU\/eyeinjury.asp\"><span class=\"s2\">nearly three out of five<\/span><\/a> injured workers were not wearing proper eye protection, if they had any at all. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">\u201cThe good news is that approximately 90 percent of these injuries are preventable with proper eye protection,\u201d George Watlington, a Product Manager of Hardgoods at Airgas, says. \u201cOSHA requires employers to make sure that all employees use appropriate eye protection.
